Hi my name is Wendy and I saw in the April 2009 edition about the cheerleaders from Lewiston going to nationals and I think that is trully great. I have 2 younger girls ages 7 & 9 who both cheerlead. My youngest cheers for Poland Recreation known as "The Twisters" and she loves it!!!! My older daughter cheers for the "Maine Event" in Lewiston and they go all over for compatitions. She has been to Rhode Island but mostly Mass. In May the Maine Event goes to Virginia Beach for one week to compete for the World's Title. They have a saying they do and I'd like to say it to them and wish them all the luck in the world. "The best just got better, the show has begun, Maine Event there can be only one." Go Mimi's and good luck to all the teams at the Maine Event.
